Alex dies
A deleted scene of Alex playing Twister in the woods
As this was a two-week span with a four day weekend, Alex decided that this would be a good time to do something bigger than just podcasting. So, Alex did a vlog. In total, Alex spent a solid ten hours producing the vlog. Was it worth it? Nah, let's be honest, none of you are going to watch it. It's too long, even with me editing it down from an hour and a half to forty minutes, but it gave me an excuse to move my podcast in a new direction for the upcoming weeks. Now, Alex is dead, but as you can tell by the ending scene in the vlog where Alex is in a fetal position during the sunrise, Alex is to rise like a phoenix and be reborn.
Alex would still really appreciate you at least skimming through the video, as it did take a lot of effort to produce it. Alex was actually experiencing something akin to mental exhaustion around the fifth hour, where Alex genuinely wanted to get home. Alex, of course, was playing a character throughout most of it. So the moments of panic weren't actually genuine, just a caricature.
Alex also went skiing at Roche Juane near Airport Hill recently. Here are some photos from that adventure.
Alex was born in Miles City, MT. He does stuff and things. Now, he's podcasting for some reason. Alex won't have much to say, but he'll sure act like it.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your twister board. I cannot wait to view your vlog when it uploads.
ReplyDeleteClaire, if you ever see my mom, don't tell her about that Twister board. It's currently hidden under a bunch of pillows in the basement. So hopefully she won't notice it until I'm in college, and then she'll be immensely confused as to why and when a Twister mat was ripped up and put under the body pillows. It would probably only take a minute's time for her to figure out it was me though.
DeleteThe vlog's uploaded now. I should've planned ahead with the uploading of it. It took two hours to export to the computer as a file and then another two to upload it to Google Drive. I suppose I was just expecting it to be ten minutes long.
Cool photos! I love your creativity! The twister video is lots of fun! I can't imagine how cold it was but your persistence and drive to provide content to your viewers is admirable!
ReplyDeleteThat was such a lovely day skiing there. The weather was ideal with no wind and it was twenty-five degrees out which is just the right temperature. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay there for longer than two hours due to the time I told my mom to pick me up, but it was a really enjoyable time while it lasted.
DeleteNow let me tell you something Bailee, one of the best parts of cross-country skiing (for me anyways) is that you feel invincible to the cold. You can often plop down in the cold and not feel a tingle of cold. As with all the layers I have on and wool socks with my boots, Jack Frost can't even touch me. The only exception was with this blog. When I had to take my off my gloves for recording a certain part of it, that was when I experienced some numbness in my hands. It was resolved when I put my gloves back on though. I did feel some exhaustion near the end of my blog, but other than that I really enjoyed myself out there.
From reading the title I actually thought you died for a second but then realized if you died you most likely couldn't have wrote this blog. Thanks for keeping your blogs so entertaining. Your blogs are the most enjoyable out of the class to read.
ReplyDeleteAn enjoyable video indeed, even if I only watched about 10-20 minutes of it. In fact, your podcasts and videos are so enjoyable that here I am at midnight listening and watching them instead of writing my own blog. Perhaps this is a mistake staying up so late, but I just felt that since you consistently read my blog I should do my best to return the favor and look at what your hard work has produced. On a side note, are you thinking of maybe doing vlogging for your next genius hour?
