What I tried to do with the podcast is more sound effects and following a rigid outline in the things I say. The rigid outline actually made it easier for me, but the sound effects did not. You would think GarageBand would have an extensive library for sound effects, but no; the majority of sound effects I had to download as an mp3 and then insert it into the blog. For instance, the thunderclap at the beginning, I had to go to youTube, find that sound effect, and then convert it to mp3. And for what, one sound effect that won't be noticed at all! Well, in the grand scheme of things I was trying to create an immersive experience with the podcast that would engage the listeners. In reality, sound effects probably feel too forced.
Anyways, that's what I thought about while acquiring frostbite in front of my house.

| No pictures of cross-country skiing for this blog, sorry. Once I get set up for cross-country skiing, I just want to go, I don't want to take a hundred photos, it mires my enjoyment of the sport greatly. Instead here's a picture of the "Goosebumps" I started the podcast with. |
